My journey to use less single-use plastic began when I became a first-time mom. Upon discovering that most of the plastics we discard end up in the oceans again, contaminating our water supply and producing hundreds of microplastics. I was appalled when I realized I was giving my baby the same food and water.

I founded Nativ Tales after being frustrated with how much waste the home cleaning industry produced, especially the amount of single-use plastic waste created by our bathroom and household cleaning essentials.

I wanted to do my part to help, but it was hard to find great household products like hand soap, laundry detergent, and multi-purpose cleaners that didn’t come packaged in plastic.

From there, Nativ Tales was born. Switching to a zero waste options will help solve the water waste problem and reduce our plastic footprint.
